Finally…Finished!!

It's now winter in Sweden. The snow and cold temperatures have arrived!. I am FINE!
I've been abit busy about planing things i want to do when i go back to visit my home. I am really excited and looking forward for that...Its not so far from now.

Anyways, life here is really good so far. Finally i got a residence permit.  i would write my experiences as i really struggled through this. I have been waiting for my new permit after i extended it in last March, i got interview in last September and now everything done i got what i want. i have been waited at least five months after my Aupair Visa is expire or seven months after i applied. Quiet take a long time but worth enough to get two years permit.
Before ahead back home i have to make few things done to make sure i will not get any trouble later when i am back here in Sweden.

First i have to go get my personal number at the tax office and register my name in Swedish address after i got my Permit card then, going to make ID card, after that i have to sign up for SFI (Swedish for immigrants) for study Swedish as a beginner for free. well everything will be done asap will update next blog then.

Well Christmas is coming i wish everyone happy in life and lucky in life also. I think i will come back to update my blog again after New year i might have some more thing to shear and update you guys. Thank you for reading my blog for this whole year! See you Next year, Love you all..May Jesus Bless you.

Merry Christmas and Happy New Year 2013 to all.

Alla helgons dag (All Saints’ Day) in Sweden

All Saints Day is traditionally observed here, which is a time to pay respect to saints, visit the graves of loved ones, and light candles in remembrance. It’s not a very religious ceremony. Swedes aren’t on the whole, very religious, and particularly not about a deeply Catholic tradition that survive despite all the odds in this most Lutheran of countries.. Alla Helgons Dag = All Saints Day Alla Helgons Afton (eve) = Halloween

Originally it was believed that at the end of summer and beginning of winter the dead returned home and needed to be guided by candles and bonfires. Which is why we on All Saint's Day light candles, decorate and watch over relatives' graves in Sweden.

About All Saints' Day?? I was born in buddhism country i don't think i have even seen this before even i learn alot about christian but i never heard this at all. i might have seen the candle light on the cemeteries on TV but i know nothing about it seriously.

I never thought about Alla helgons dag before. I didn’t understand what it was about or even know that people were lighting candles and leaving flowers in cemeteries. That is why I love working on this blog. I am learning so much more about my 2nd country and I love to sharing that information with anyone else who might be interested. of course i got a chance and went to the family crypt where my boyfriend grandparents are buried in skeda kyrka linköping last weekned with my boyfriend and his parent. Its was my new experience to do something new and different .i think its really nice and buetiful. All around the cemeteries are bright of the candles and beautiful with the flowers!

Growing up in Chiang Mai Thailand, Halloween is No meaning for me. I never dressing up for costume parties, bobbing for apples, carving pumpkin and trick or treating door to door. Even stores and businesses stock up candy to give to the kids. Well anyway i have been playing with Pumpkin and dressing up with my friends at her house. Its was quiet fun hehe...

I am away from my blog for awhile coz i have not much things to update. The weather now is getting colder two weeks ago its was really cold about - 10 °C at night but now its getting abit warmer for me i feel the same cold is cold!!!....The darkness is arrived in Sweden here is getting dark about 3.30 pm. Don't even ask about the sun i think i didn't see the sun for many many day! but in the dark still buetiful somehow.

Well this blog i just want to a little update about myself and All Saints’ Day in Sweden, I hope you all guy enjoy reading and seeing my photos. Bless you all. Hej då..

Homemade Simple apple jam!!!

Hello everyone, Now in Sweden is full with Apples! Quiet late but still have lots. Today i got many apple from my apple tree behind the house and i made very simple apply jam so you can keep the jam in the fridge at least 2 weeks.

So check it out how to make a simple apple jam by me in Happy mood Kitchen.!

Ingredient
3  medium size of apples (Actually you can use another fruit such as berries or pineapple)
1 1/2 cup of sugar (up to you but at least 1 cup)
1 1/2 cup of water
1/4 of lime juice
1/2 tsp of salt
1 tsp of gelatin

Combine the chopped apples into small pieces and soaked them into the water (add salt in water)

1 1/2 cup of water in a pot and let it boil then add the fruit to a boil and cook for at least five minutes at a roll before add sugar and salt then add gelatin, mix them together. (watch out though, it will bubble and depending on the size of your pot, can get a little splashy).

When it seems nice and jammy (Clear and sticky) turn off the heat and add the lime juice. Let them cooler then put our jam into the jar. Let's eat!!!

Trust me this is a very easy and very simple to make your jam. Hope you guys enjoy in the kitchen. Check my blog out later and see what i am gonna do next. Love you, cya

Love being in the Kitchen..

This blog has brought me so much happiness not just only about have been an aupair. I want to begining to write about other stuff as much as i can. Everyday i still learning in manything thats i can't focus just one thing.

I have become a better cook and bake as i not often to cook or bake when i am in Thailand and now I have met some of people who love food, cooking and baking as much as I do. I have also been post some fantastic food pictures on my facebook.  How cool is that?? I've always loved being in the kitchen. Is the great place at parties and get togethers. That's where the action is, where delicious smells come from, and where I go to create some really great stuff, i think so hehe.

Actually all my foods its come from the most what i like to eat, when i want to eat something or anything and i don't know the recipes i just call my mom and ask ( If thats food is Chiangmai Local food) or asking google its the easy and fastest way to get an idea. I love to cook and especially love to be inspired by seeing fresh and sometimes unusual ingredients when I shop, travel or just read a delicious sounding recipe.. it compels me to try new techniques, ingredients perhaps incorporating something different into my cooking repertoire. I like to watching Master's chef program or any TV show about food.

When i am in Thailand i knew i love to cook but i don't have much time and chance to do it coz i always work work and work. Most of the time when i am back home foods already on the table. My mom always cook everyday. I love to watching her cooking i can see how much she really care about us. I can oder whatever i want to eat. I lover my private restaurant!
Now i am here in Sweden i have much more time to be in the kitchen, everyday in my Aupair year i spent half of my work time in the kitchen and i realize that i love too cook. I like to see smiling face on any person who eat my foods. its making me happy and enjoy to continue cooking. Here i have my own Thai vegestables garden. I grow them all by my tiny hands. Actually its growing great and nice fresh ingredients for me. Everyday from now its getting colder i can not continue to grow my vegies outside for more after my current vegies are gone.

Now i am better to speak Swedish, i speak everyday i try. i need to learn alot more. will see

well i will show you some pictures about food i have been cooking!! Enjoy and thanks for reading my blog. Love you Guys .. See ya next time

An Alien in Sweden

Humlegården
Sometimes I need to remember that I am here in Sweden for a reason. When I think about my life here, I don’t measure successes and failures in terms of whether the move to Sweden “was worth it” anymore. It just is that way now."

Sweden has been my home for 13 months now it is still all so new to me sometimes.
I was a little bored and recently got some work to do in Stockholm just for two weeks. I decided to take the train to Stockholm just for one hour. After i move to flen or before i always take the SJ train to come and retrun its easy and not take a long time. On the train, the ticket inspector didn’t speak any English so it was a decent opportunity to talk Swedish to her. (just say Thank you ) It went well everytime, and I always arrived safely. Now i am back to Flen.

Yet this afternoon reminded me of the decision to leave Thailand and come to Sweden. I needed a challenge, learning new things, meet new peoples, I wanted to brush of the shackles of the past decade that I had in Chiangmai and push myself to new boundaries, but living somewhere new was also the main decision. It’s funny at times living here but i still looking forward to go back to my home in ChiangMai very soon anyway.

So where’s my favourite place in Sweden?
During the summer many will say Stockholm and Göteborg are always going to be the most visited places. But every part of Sweden has its own initial beauty. For me the best place I have been to in Sweden since I moved here is Stockholm. It has a stunning and rock me. Linköping and Norrköping are also great places to visit all year round.
During the winter i will say Åre. up north of sweden its take a train about 8-10 hours. going there for Ski most popular place and very very nice!.
I love a lot about Sweden. It has taken a while to adjust from moving from Thailand to Sweden. I moved during the late summer of 2011. So I had to get used to snow. The things I love most about Sweden are the love of the outdoors. I had to get to used to several dark short winter days but in the summer there are many places to visit and enjoy. Sweden is a BIG country compared to the Thailand, yet has less population than Bangkok. So as long as i am here i still feel like i am an Alien maybe i will love to be like this..lol

Not so soon the snow will arrive. Everything still so green, Walking around the park I got to see some lovely autumnal scenery so Autumn in Sweden is beautiful!

My blog is going well. It’s a small window to my world and I have links to my blog also my Facebook pages. Being a writer I like to be creative and blog as much as I can but sometimes it’s not always possible to do so.So thank you for reading so far and I hope that this blog has helped some people make a decision about coming to Sweden, if not then I think you enjoy reading!

let’s live life...

Ten months here in Sweden its a very important part of my life, Learning, experience, Loving, hurting, forgiving and forgetting. This month is the last month with my Aupair life, last month for being with my wonderful host family.

The last when u read its seem abit sad but in that word its meant to be manything beginning. I didn't write anything about my Aupair life for awhile manything has happen as usual. I don't have any chance to travel to visit the fosters kids at all but i still hoping and look forward for my next visiting anyway. I have done many activities with my Thai's friends here as ride a horse its was a very good experience to do it, went to temple together, walk around town together on Swedish National day. Soon on my birthday will have party with them at my home, its will be very fun and one good memory for us.

Last 2 month i was applied for a new permit that call Sambo Visa and now i still waiting in the line for get interview. Sambo Visa is If you or someone you love has been in a serious relationship with someone from another country, you are well aware of the dreaded V word: v-, v-, v-, VISA!!!!  If you’ve been in a committed relationship with a Swedish citizen, preferably one where you’ve lived together before, then you can get a visa to live with that person in Sweden, plus the right to work. Oh yeah, and free Swedish lessons. And health care. (Pretty much the only thing you can’t get, actually, is the government stipend for full time students. You have to become a permanent resident for that.)
i feel like I am so grateful that the country of Sweden is as welcoming towards unmarried couples as it is. In Sweden, however, it’s nothing out of the ordinary. Living together with your boyfriend/girlfriend as a “sambo” is extremely common but not in Thailand,(Live together if parent not know thats not count) especially when things get a little more serious... well this is some meaning about Sambo Visa. I will let you know what going on later after everything done.

Now in Sweden still abit cool because of rain but i love this time coz day time is longer. I have not really much thing to update because as i told you i didn't have much chance to do much thing out from Sweden. I fell in love with the warm summer days, the easy-going lifestyle, the fact that the whole country seemed to be on vacation, running, swimming and the bicycles. I learned that waffles are a dessert item, not a breakfast food, and that the best way to eat them is covered in jam made of Cloudberries. I really look forward for real summer again as last year when i first came here.

I couldn’t have asked for a better year in Sweden. Though there were some things I would have changed, I found a way to work around others and find my own happiness in a foreign world. I feel like I am a changed person, not only do I speak some Swedish and more understand when they talk not fluently but i have gained the knowledge of how other countries work, but I have a whole new perspective on the world. I am more open to things and enjoy challenges. Above all, I think I understand myself better. I more understand what I want with myself and for my future.
I survived my year in Sweden as an Aupair without absolutely hating it, I accepted the challenge and handled it in the best way I could and came out successful. I could not ask for more this all are from my deep feeling. " You may not always end up where you thought you were going But You will always end up where you were meant to be "

Thank you for my families, Henriksson's Host family, Friends and you guys who reading my blog. I see you next time. I will upload more picture soon. Good night for ya'll.. Love you

Happy Thai New Year....

I am so so sorry that I have not been writing anything for awhile. As my time to be an Aupair is almost done in here with Henriksson's family. I have been really not focus of what is going on and not even processing things quietly. I have begun writing many posts but now seem like i ran out of the word to say but i will fill in some of the blanks and write some more as usual.

It's amazing to me how much I've done and how much my life has changed in the past year. I've visited several different countries. Become (basically) speaking in another language. Met tons of amazing, fun and interesting people. I've eaten all sorts of weird and delicious things and done some pretty crazy stuff...It's been an absolutely wonderful year and I wouldn't trade my experience for anything. In about 3 months from now my time as an au pair will end but I'm extremely excited about the coming year and the many fun blogs that will come out of it.

Today is begun of Songkran festival or Thai New Year. Made me got homesick !!! I love this time coz i have a chances to meet family, friends that's i didn't see them often and yeah being with the family at home , going to the temple with mom to do some Lanna tradition, eating lots of food, wearing lanna outfit put the flower up on your hair, smelling Jasmin,Gardenia around and going out for water war around the moat in Chaing Mai that's Amazing!!

Well i have nothing new for update from now but next post i think i will have lots of thing to share you guys!

GOTT NYTT ÅR och Jag älskar, saknar dig....Puss o Kram Hej då

It's Another Cinderella Story...

Don't ever let anyone break your soul. You have to stand on your own two feet and fight. There are those who would give anything to see you fall. Never give them the satisfaction. Hold your head up high, put a smile on your face and stand your ground. Sound good huh??

I have been live in Sweden over six months. Time gone by pretty fast, Life in here is so far so good not great everyday and also not bad everyday. When you see the headline about "It's Another Cinderella Story" you might think what dose its mean, I am beautiful like Cinderella? i found my Prince? Don't forget about pity part of Cinderella!!I am in part of it but might be abit better then her! well just you know life in another country its not that easy and fun as you wish and also not too bad to gain you experiences about living in another country and learning about different type of peoples. I learn alot, i having fun alot, i met new peoples alot, and i have been disappointed also.

Many peoples around me always say i am too nice to others then i forgot to be nice for myself. I let many peoples use me it's doesn't mean i am stupid but coz those of peoples i call them "Friend" and"Family" i never wish anything from others but i hope any good things i have done to others might return to me someday somehow. This blog i didn't write for complaining anything. i just want to write about how i feel now. its not that bad to write them down and share to others. its might help some. Don't you think so?

Well i have been got a chance to be back home for one week sine i left for 6 months. I was really happy to be home to met friends and families. Thank you for the one who part of supporting me to be back home this time. I not really have much things to update. Just came back and continute my Aupair life here in Sweden.Spending my weekend with friends, travel around, Drive Go-kart, play ice-skate even we are very bad with it. cooking and eating, always fun with thinking about the menu what we gonna cook and eat. It's crazy how many emotions I've gone through while I've been here. It seems like everything that could possibly happen, has happened. But I am thankful for every second here, and I wouldn't change a thing. I can only do so much, and try my best, so I'm trying to make the most out of every day I have left.

I didn't really plan to go travel anywhere from now yet coz still cold and i just came back from Thailand but soon i will starting my journey again. before finish this post i really want to say " No place will be better then your Home" I miss Chiang Mai, Thailand and I Love Sweden. see you next time. Love you,
