LIVING LIFE!!

If you’re wondering where I’ve been these last tree months, the answer is: LIVING LIFE! As terrible as I feel about not updating my blog, it feels great to be too busy to post!  When you first move to a new country you have so much free time because you have not much things to do..Now though, especially this past three month, my life has been filled with studying most of the time, travel, fikas, writing papers, socializing, and everything in between.

On last new year i've been to Åre (Tagefjäll) again with the Twins host family to celebrate the new year there with them and their friends. Celebrating New Years in Sweden means one thing: Fireworks – everywhere.. 2013 was my second years living abroad in Sweden filled with adjusting, learning, struggles, accomplishments, and gain my new experiences in Life.

I thought I would share some recent learning experiences since I’ve been away. I’ve been back to Thailand for tree weeks in the late of January untill mid of Febuary,  That’s a great thing to be back home again even just for a short time! We went to Phuket as usual just one week then ahead back to Chiang Mai and stayed there for the rest of times. Very happy when i’ve seen my families, friends and my lovely cats.

Now i'm back to continue my study in sweden after finished SFI (Swedish for immigrants),I started my next step towards Swedish fluency last january – Svenska som Andra Språk grund,(Swedish as a Second Language)(SASG) (secondary school) at least 2-3 semesters until going to the next level. Education here for me at first it's quiet complicated to explain or understanding if you come to study as adult education, SAS is sort of an extension of  SFI,  only because you must finish SFI first and your ability in SFI determines your level in SAS. Confused yet?

SFI covers the basics of the language so that you can function at an Elementary level, while SAS is considered Middle School level. The “average” pace, SASG takes a total of 40 weeks. SAS is more specific and more like an actual class. Instead of talking about vocabulary, explaining, we read on our own and discuss “why?” and “what do you think?” together. Actually alot of new vocabs! but now I’m pretty excited to start reading something other than children’s books. :)

I'm have classes on mon- fri 8.30-16.30 or 10.30- 14.30 and also Yes Homeworks! I feel so exhausted after school,  but i have to be stand and keep studing until i touching my goal....It's might take me about 3-4 years to be a pre school teacher here. I will keep trying! I’m finally more settled into my Swedish life with things to do, places to go and people to see.

Sweden on March in this year is warm, a little of snow and melting in the same day, flowers start blooming, more sunshine day and getting dark later at 6 pm. but soon will be lighting until midnight..Tada......

Soon every 25th of March – is WAFFLE DAY! If you ever needed an excuse to eat waffles, here it is. haha soon soon.. Why is it Waffle Day? They say that it stems from the mispronunciation of “vårfrudagen” (Our Lady’s Day) to “våffeldagen” (Waffle Day).

Moving abroad turns your life upside down and inside out, it takes time to find yourself again, but never stop trying.
Life changes. Things get harder just because they are different. It doesn’t take much. You’re not where you thought you would be. Time flies. People change. Adjust. Make the best of it. Find balance. Never Stop Doing What You Love.... Love you ..
Vi ses, Hej då... kram kram :D
