Originally it was believed that at the end of summer and beginning of winter the dead returned home and needed to be guided by candles and bonfires. Which is why we on All Saint's Day light candles, decorate and watch over relatives' graves in Sweden.
About All Saints' Day?? I was born in buddhism country i don't think i have even seen this before even i learn alot about christian but i never heard this at all. i might have seen the candle light on the cemeteries on TV but i know nothing about it seriously.
I never thought about Alla helgons dag before. I didn’t understand what it was about or even know that people were lighting candles and leaving flowers in cemeteries. That is why I love working on this blog. I am learning so much more about my 2nd country and I love to sharing that information with anyone else who might be interested. of course i got a chance and went to the family crypt where my boyfriend grandparents are buried in skeda kyrka linköping last weekned with my boyfriend and his parent. Its was my new experience to do something new and different .i think its really nice and buetiful. All around the cemeteries are bright of the candles and beautiful with the flowers!
I am away from my blog for awhile coz i have not much things to update. The weather now is getting colder two weeks ago its was really cold about - 10 °C at night but now its getting abit warmer for me i feel the same cold is cold!!!....The darkness is arrived in Sweden here is getting dark about 3.30 pm.
